Shipping and Returns
Unless authorised by management at Harford House any stock returned for credit will not be readily accepted and may result in a restocking fee or where dubious circumstances occur will be forwarded back to the appropriate client. Goods will only be accepted back if the goods have not been opened and the packaging undamaged.
Please check your goods upon receipt for any damage that may have been caused through transit (within Australia). Charges will not apply in cases where there has been an error by Harford House. Should there be any damage or leakage, please advise immediately as damaged and/ or incorrectly ordered goods will only be accepted up to 7 days after dispatch date. These return policies only apply to Australian clients/ customers.
Overseas orders are at your own risk. Harford House will not take any responsibility for any damages in transit or wrongly ordered products.
We can ship anywhere in Australia, if you require this to be shipped overseas this will be at the clients risk and expense.
We do have an option of "Store Pick UP" use this if you intend to pick this up yourself from us which we will have to arrange a date and time or if you would like to arrange your own freight. This option does not calculate freight.
We also now have a option that you can request a quote, how this works is at the time of purchase your only pay for your product, once product is ready to ship we get a quote from the freight company, we then let you know the cost and once freight has been paid we will ship your product.
For larger items such as furniture free freight option and normal freight option is not applicable to these items, you will see a message on the lisitng if this is the case. Please choose "await freight quote" once your order is placed and we have the delivery address we will proceed and get a freight quote from our freight carrier, we will then forward this onto you. You are most welcome to arrange your own freight for these items. Please allow 10 - 15 working days for goods to arrive.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilo.
Harford House is not responsible for any importation costs in relation to customs, tax or agricultural charges. This is the responsibility of the purchaser.
